The Original Ruler

One for all the family

The Original Rulers are made from single pieces of solid Beech or Ash wood and are chamfered to give them the vintage old school ruler look. The imperial and metric hatch marks, along with the personalisation are hand painted. Personalisation is included in the cost. Personalisation may be your family name, or your child's name along with their D.O.B, or both- you decide!

Not only will your ruler become part of the furniture, but a sentimental keepsake that can be passed down the generations. Your Bespoke Ruler will get the whole family involved, even pets too!

Great love and time is put into each ruler. Each ruler is cut, sanded, chamfered, treated and hand painted in Northern Ireland. The Original Ruler is made using Beech wood, with all natural imperfections adding to its charm meaning no two rulers will be the same. The hatch marks along with your personalisation are carefully hand painted. Each ruler is finished in a natural oak varnish which shows the natural grain in the wood, as well as treating and protecting the wood.

Our rulers start at a minimum of 19cm which allows room for your skirting boards, and reach over 6ft.

Delivery

Due to the handmade nature, rulers take around 10 working days to be made and delivered. 

Returns and Refunds

As the rulers are personalised and made to order, we are unable to offer returns. Refunds will only be given if the ruler is faulty or damaged.
